My Baby Diary

My baby – Any bond with Granduncle Alan?

It seems like there is some special moment between little Joanne with Granduncle Alan… and yes, sure it is.  I would like BLOG this, of course.  Hope you would like it.

What happened?

Last month, Uncle Alan and Aunty Magaret from UK came back to Malaysia for an vacation.   My daughter - little Joanne, who is so fussy, naughty and yet cute and lovely, seems like attracted to her Granduncle Alan.

No  joke… She did’t cry while being carried and cuddled by a total stranger – Granduncle Alan.  Whereas,  she uses to show dislike or cry when being carried by a stranger.  She could even fall asleep easily in his arms without much cuddling effort from Alan, whereas I have to cuddle her for some time to get her sleeping most of the time.  It’s a miracle? or it’s natural bond and attraction that we couldn’t explain.  Joanne just like him naturally – love at first sight, perhaps.  Haha…

Lovely Baby Gifts

Uncle Alan and Aunty Magaret gave a wonderful baby gift to Joanne, which is an “Ang Pow” (a red beautiful envelope with some money inside).  This is a chinese tranditional gift, where most Chinese will give their babies “Ang Pow” when the baby reaches one month old, or any point of time.  (Uncle Alan met Joanne when she was 4 months old).  The purpose of this “Ang Pow” is to wish the baby all the goodies and it’s not about giving the money.

(Well, for those who are blurr about “Ang Pow”, I shall upload the photo here very soon.)

And, the best baby gift that I like is the sweet bond between Uncle Alan and Little Joanne.  I’m sure Joanne like him very much.
